Preventive maintenance

From ACPA Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

Preventive maintenance is a pavement preservation strategy applied to structurally sound pavements that require surface or near surface treatment to achieve their design life. Bonded concrete overlays typically provide a cost effective solution to return serviceability to the pavement in question [1]. If the structural integrity of the pavement is in question or if the surface damage extends to deep into the pavement minor or major rehabilitation may be a more appropriate approach.
